Context

I wanted a clear snapshot of what I am actively working on, what is stable, and what I am intentionally leaving parked for now. This is less about productivity and more about clarity.

Active

These are either moving right now or were completed recently enough that they are still settling into place.

  • Life as Infrastructure Blog

    • Astro + Markdown
    • Content collections, drafts, RSS
    • GitHub + Cloudflare Pages
    • Primary purpose: documentation and reflection
  • pfSense + Cloudflare Zero Trust

    • WebGUI behind Cloudflare Access
    • Correct VLAN/interface origin routing
    • SSH rebuilt with key-based auth
    • Tunnel hosted in SERVERNETWORK
    • Stable and working
  • Homelab Core Infrastructure

    • pfSense firewall + VLAN architecture
    • Ubuntu server as control plane
    • cloudflared and core services running
    • Light hardening ongoing

Maintain

These systems are healthy enough that they do not need active iteration right now.

  • Self-hosted sites

    • geodude.blog
    • gymtechventures.com
    • Aligned with Cloudflare-first architecture
  • VLAN segmentation & firewall rules

    • LAN / HOME / SERVER / IoT separation
    • Mostly dialed in
    • Periodic review only

Incubating

These have clear direction, but I am deliberately keeping the pressure low.

  • Homelab dashboard

    • Homer or Uptime-Kuma
    • Service visibility + light telemetry
  • Home Assistant

    • Running in IoT VLAN
    • HVAC tuning and energy optimization
    • Needs refinement and documentation later
  • My Hero Fit-ademia

    • SwiftUI workout app
    • Fitness treated as a system
    • Parked until creative energy returns
  • SakuraSavings

    • Budgeting and debt systems
    • Conceptually solid
    • Not urgent

Background

These still matter, but they are no longer the main build focus.

  • Debt payoff

    • Avalanche strategy chosen
    • Execution mode, not modeling
  • Fraternity IT operations

    • Ongoing responsibility
    • Operational, not experimental

Reflection

Right now, my real focus is infrastructure and documentation. Everything else either supports that work or can wait. This snapshot is a reminder that clarity is its own kind of progress.
